Loughcrew Lightshow 2026
27th November - 3rd of January
Loughcrew’s much-loved light experience returns this year with a fresh new approach!
As darkness falls, join us for a magical evening at Loughcrew Gardens, where nature takes centre stage. Wander along a beautifully illuminated pathway, discover glowing trees, and experience the natural beauty of our gardens in a whole new light. From twinkling lights to enchanting installations, the gardens will come alive after dark, creating a special experience for the whole family to enjoy.
This year, we’re keeping things simple, focusing on the beauty of nature, the magic of light, and the joy of spending time together. Rather than a large themed event or a visit from Santa, our light experience will celebrate the trees, gardens, and peaceful surroundings of Loughcrew in a more natural and relaxed way.
Our aim is to make the experience more affordable while still offering a memorable evening filled with atmosphere, wonder, and festive cheer. Whether you’re bringing the children, enjoying a family outing, or simply looking for something special to do on a winter evening, Loughcrew offers the perfect setting to slow down, wrap up warm, and enjoy the magic of the outdoors after dark.
Bring your camera to capture the illuminated trees, glowing pathways, and beautiful moments along the way. We invite you to embrace the darkness, discover the beauty of nature, and make wonderful memories together.
We look forward to welcoming you to Loughcrew for another magical season of lights!
