Get ready for an unforgettable day of cars, history, live entertainment and food at the spectacular Loughcrew Estate!

Loughcrew Car Fest brings together an exciting collection of vehicles, including rally cars, vintage cars, classic cars, sports cars, vintage bikes and TVR's such as the legendary Blackpool Bombers. With an incredible variety of vehicles on display, there will be something to excite every motoring enthusiast.

Enjoy live music from Ray Dolan, delicious food and drink in our Loughcrew Cafe, and a fantastic atmosphere as you explore the historic gardens of Loughcrew Estate.

Most importantly, this is a charity fundraising event, with all profits raised going towards a selection of charities organised by The Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem.

A Car Fest with a Story

What better place to celebrate our love of the motor car than Loughcrew?

Set within one of Ireland's most historic landscapes, Loughcrew Estate has a remarkable story stretching back over 5,000 years. The surrounding Loughcrew Hills are home to more than 50 ancient burial cairns, while the gardens and estate have witnessed countless chapters of Irish history.

One of the five ancient chariot roads leading from the Hill of Tara – where the ancient Kings of Ireland were crowned – travelled westwards through Loughcrew. Long before the Romans arrived, the Irish had their own chariots: brightly coloured, elaborately decorated, noisy symbols of power and status.

In many ways, the modern motor car has carried that tradition forward!

The ancient Brehon Laws even contained rules governing the design and use of chariots – perhaps an early Irish equivalent of our modern-day motoring regulations!

With such a deep connection to transportation, status and spectacle, where better to hold Carfest than Loughcrew?

This is just the beginning. We have ambitious plans to grow Loughcrew Car Fest into one of Ireland's largest charity fundraising event, bringing together motoring enthusiasts, families, music lovers and the wider community for an incredible day out – all while supporting worthwhile causes.

Exhibitors

€25 per car, including a BBQ lunch for the driver and 1 passenger.

A BBQ food voucher will be provided at check-in for the driver and one passenger. A valid exhibitor ticket must be presented at check-in.

If the driver attends alone, only one BBQ food voucher will be provided.

Exhibiting vehicles must be in place before 10:00am and must remain on site until 5:00pm. No exhibitor vehicles may leave before 5:00pm unless authorised by the event organisers.

Extra Exhibitor Passengers

​

€9 per additional passenger.

Any additional passengers must purchase an Extra Exhibitor Passenger Ticket in advance. Each additional passenger must have a valid ticket to access the exhibitor area and receive a BBQ lunch voucher.
