Welcome to Loughcrew - a 200 acre private estate based in north Co. Meath, one hour from Dublin. It is situated at the foot of the Loughcrew Cairns (the largest and one of the oldest networks of megalithic passage tombs in Ireland), and leads onto Loughcrew Historic Gardens, in which can be found Oliver Plunkett's family church.

Loughcrew provides a range of outdoor activities which are proven to help build trust in your team, to overcome obstacles and to improve out-of-the-box creativity. Our experienced instructors will work with you to revitalize and galvanize your team through tailor made programmes. We specialise in creating a unique atmosphere for small corporate groups who want to experience a more relaxed and private occasion; coming to Loughcrew is committing to the well-being and productivity of your team.

The activities are located in the woodland at Loughcrew and the course has been designed with safety in mind. The course is available for full day (6 hr) sessions or half day (3 hr) sessions. Whichever you choose, all of our activities are available to you during your time here.

Fire - Our experienced bushmen will teach you to source wood, light and maintain a fire.

Water - Do you know how to find wild water? To purify and filter it?

Food - What can I eat in nature? Are these berries good for me? Learn about food hygiene, preparation and food quality.

Navigation - Learn how and when to make a decision to move. How do you choose the best route? How is it best to travel in groups?

The bush craft and survival skills sessions are co-ordinated by Johnny Walshe (NCFE qualified) of The Living Wilderness Bushcraft.
